How the CCI Handicap Is Calculated

Official Formula

CCI = ((0.55 × T × IT) + (0.15 × NT × IF) + (0.30 × CI)) ÷ ((0.55 × IT) + (0.15 × IF) + 0.30)

The formula automatically adjusts when Tournament or Non-Tournament data is unavailable so players are never penalized for missing a component.

Component Definitions

T (Tournament Average)
Average tournament differential from all eligible tournament rounds played during the previous 750 days.


NT (Non-Tournament Average)
Average of the player's best 50% of eligible non-tournament differentials recorded during the previous 750 days.


CI (Ceiling Index)
Average of the player's best three eligible differentials recorded during the previous 1,825 days (5 years).


Weights
Tournament: 55%
Non-Tournament: 15%
Ceiling Index: 30%
