Sixteen men. Two captains. One day when the whole trip becomes a team.
2027 · Chapter 10 · The tenth trip
A milestone trip deserves a milestone matchup. Jake Willis and Thomas Seaborg are the only two men who have played in every Ryder Cup and finished on the winning side every time. Six Cups. Six wins each. In 2027, they lead opposing teams.

Since its introduction in 2021, the Ryder Cup has given the Concrete Classic a day of shared purpose: sixteen men, two teams, and a result every player has a hand in shaping.
It begins with the draft and the belief that your side has what it takes. It becomes the partner you trust, the match you refuse to give away, and the teammates waiting to hear how you finished. By the last hole, every point belongs to eight men.
The captains change. The teams change. The result joins the history of a trip built around the men who keep coming back.

Personal match points: 1 for a win, ½ for a half, 0 for a loss. Points %: points earned divided by matches played, not outright win percentage. The three format columns show W–L–H records across all years in each player’s displayed source. Both partners receive individual credit for a team match; their Cup side receives only one match point. Live rows use the Sheet; Archive rows retain verified totals through 2026 when live totals are missing. Cup team W–L covers all formats and comes from the trip-wide team-result ledger.
The archive contains 54 regulation matches: 53 played matches and the 2026 team-only forfeit. Individual totals count played matches only. The 2022 scramble playoff decides the Cup winner but is not added to four-ball, alternate-shot, or singles records.
The 2022 trip-wide team-result ledger includes Ryan Johnson on the losing side even though he arrived after the Ryder Cup. The player table includes only golfers with at least one recorded Cup match; its team W–L column preserves the separate trip-wide ledger.
The first 2026 four-ball result has conflicting source fields. Golf Operations confirmed that Jason Flint and Troy Seaborg defeated Andy Terry and Mauricio Santiago. That correction is reflected in the match records, the 2–2 morning score, and Team Garrett’s 5–4 Cup win. The spreadsheet and source book have not been edited.
Four morning matches and five afternoon matches decide the Cup. Five points win it outright; a 4½–4½ tie goes to a playoff.
Two players on each side play their own ball. The better score for each side determines the hole. Each match is worth one Cup point.
Recorded in the archive as BB, or best ball.
Partners share one ball and alternate strokes. The format asks for trust, discipline, and a partner who can handle the next shot you leave him.
Recorded in the archive as AS, or alternate shot.
One golfer against one golfer in match play. Two matches each carry one point, completing the afternoon’s five-point session.
Recorded in the archive as S.
The Constitution calls for each captain to choose a four-man scramble team for a three-hole stroke-play playoff. A par-3, par-4, and par-5 combination is preferred. If the teams remain tied, the playoff continues into sudden death.
6&4 means six holes ahead with four left to play. 1 up means a one-hole victory after the final hole. AS in the result column means all square, a halved match; AS in the format field means alternate shot. A half gives each Cup side ½ point.

Match and team records use RyderCup_Matches, RyderCupTeam, Team_Summary, and Ryder Cup Tiebreakers. The history book’s Ryder Cup sections span pages 22–23, 30–31, 38, 46, 53–54, and 62–63. The Cup stories, match archive, and highlighted records are a verified 2021–2026 snapshot.
